About Us

Founded April 2020 by Rosalyn L. Kennedy, a lifelong resident of Lakeland Florida. We are a non-profit 501c3 organization advocating for the blind, and growth of inner beauty and wellness for all mankind.

My Blind Is Beautiful is a community which focus on the entire disabled sector as a whole. We are a unique and diverse group with the intention of capturing the attention of a stigmatic society. Our goal is to enhance the birthing of inner beauty and potential. MyBIB will demonstrate our ability to complete complex tasks using a creative strategy. Our community will focus on personal, social, spiritual, educational and professional strengths, and confidence building techniques.

Our Purpose

My Blind is Beautiful is a community that strives to exceed the expectation of a stigmatic society. Our beauty and uniqueness will redirect the doubtful mindset of society and prove the affirmed ability of the visually impaired, blind and other varied exceptionalities . My B.I.B.’s purpose is to empower individuals of a diverse scope of the optec perspective of the visually impaired. It is our goal to assist in the developmental strategies needed to enhance, pro-create and revive the equivalance of value of the entire human race.

Meet the Founder

Rosalyn Kennedy aka The Vision Fairy 🧚🏿‍♀️

As the Founder and President of “My Blind Is Beautiful”, Rosalyn Kennedy brings the passion of advocating for the blind and visually impaired.

Responsible for overseeing all facets of the organization, Rosalyn pilots the mission, fundraising, operations and engagement with the VISION Board. She has single handed redirected the focus of a doubtful and stigmatic society by aligning the daily work with values around diversity, advocacy, inclusion, and accessibility.
Exuding a dynamic leadership technique that motivates, Rosalyn successfully overcame the bias perception of blind individuals. Rosalyn is a strong leader within the sector, making her an extraordinary advocate for the entire nonsighted community.

Rosalyn has an extensive background in Business Management, graduating with a Masters of Science management from Warner University in 2019. As She is a powerful; force and utilizes her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard to succeed. To continue to advance and become more knowledgeable, Rosalyn plans to matriculate studies to earn a PhD in Business with a focus on non-profit organization. She is currently employed with Polk County Public School and is a former board member of the Planning and Zoning Board with the City of Lakeland. She has also received customer service training certification from Corinthian Colleges.
